The atmosphere you created in this piece of artwork is great and works really well - it's a bit dreamy with the soft aquarel-like overflow of colors, which give it a really nice Autumn-like feel. Yet still it manages to create a sense of bleak distance, as you rightfully said it in your description. I also love the details you put into it, such as the subtle decorations in the cloak, beard and hair. They add to the image without distracting you with it - Good job :3 Anatomy looks good to, though I'd wish I had broad shoulders like that. Heheh-
